Location: Loudon, NH
Problem: Royal, an amputee, had fallen into a few windows breaking the glass. Some of the window sills were rotting and the windows leaking. Currently, has plastic and tape to stop the air infiltration.
Solution: Hammers for Veterans worked with two New Hampshire Home Builders association members to replace the windows and trim and also make the necessary repairs to install the new windows. The windows were discounted by Pella Windows and the installation of the windows and trim was completed by Alex Reid of Reid Building Services and Mike Doyon of Mike Doyon Construction. The Veteran and his wife are very pleased with the upgrade to their windows keeping them warm this winter and safer for Royal. All the expenses were paid by Hammers for Veterans with contribution from Veterans Count for $650.
