Entryway built for a split level to accommodate wheelchair

Location: Hudson, NH

Problem: On February 11th, 2017 Joshua was unexpectedly shot in the neck by a negligent weapon discharge resulting in life threatening and altering injuries. His family home was a split level with no ability for Joshua to enter.

Solution: An addition was built onto the existing home, in order to bring the home flooring to level. We had a volunteer day with over 20 volunteers to install a new exterior around the new addition and existing house. James Hardie Building products generously donated all the siding & trim materials to the project and Homescapes of New England donated half of the labor to install the siding and trim after the volunteer day to complete the project. Remaining expenses paid for Hammers for Veterans.
